Walk into Concorde Espresso Bar this time of year and it feels less like a coffee shop and more like stepping straight into a holiday movie. Twenty feet of sparkling Christmas tree glow, fireside blankets waiting to be draped over your lap, and a winter cocktail menu built on nostalgia, spice, and a little bartending magic. From spiked cocoa to the cult-favorite Eggnog Espresso Martini, Concorde turns every visit into a scene you’ll want to replay all season long. We spoke to owners Ace & Jamie Alfalla to learn more.

What will make the holiday season at Concorde Espresso Bar special?

We’ve fully decked the halls! Picture twinkling Christmas lights everywhere, a soaring 20-foot Christmas tree, cozy fireside seating with warm blankets we provide, and the warmest holiday hospitality in town. It’s pure magic from the moment you walk through the door.

Are you offering any seasonal menus, events, or experiences this year?Absolutely! In addition to our limited-time winter cocktail menu, guests can enjoy fireside spiked hot cocoa, Irish whiskey hot toddies, and cozy blanket service all season long.

What ingredients or flavors define your winter cocktail menu, and how do they reflect the spirit of the season?

Think warm spices, rich creaminess, and festive nostalgia: allspice dram, pumpkin, fresh cranberry, eggnog made in-house, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cozy bourbon or rum bases. Every sip feels like wrapping yourself in a warm sweater by the fire.

Is there a signature cocktail guests shouldn’t miss during the holidays?

Hands-down our Eggnog Espresso Martini — fresh-pulled espresso shaken with our house-made eggnog and a touch of RumChata. It only appears two months of the year and is overwhelmingly the crowd favorite. Runner-up: my personal love, The Coquito (Puerto Rican coconut eggnog), which ties beautifully into our “cocktails around the world” theme.
