When the N.C. legislature passed the new law in the Summer of 2019 approving distilleries' ability to serve cocktails, Co-Owners Melissa and Lee Katrincic of Durham Distillery were the first to announce plans for an onsite cocktail
bar—Corpse Reviver. Since then, they've created a fantastic space to relax with friends while enjoying some phenomenal Conniption cocktails.
Their signature cocktail features Conniption Navy Strength Gin, Cocchi Americano and fresh lemon. Served chilled in an absinthe-rinsed coupe.
Ingredients
3/4 oz. Conniption Navy Strength Gin
3/4 oz. Orange liqueur
3/4 oz. Cocchi Americano
3/4 oz. Lemon Juice
Combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake 'em up. Rinse coupe glass with Absinthe and garnish with a citrus peel.
